How do I contact other members?

To contact other members requires you to be a member of ideal mate. When you logon you have the ability to contact other members by clicking on their name.

While viewing their profile click on "Email (Profile Name)" or to add them to your contacts list for later click on "Add to Contacts."

We have a strict policy against displaying personal information (full name, address, address, phone number, etc.). Your secrets are safe with us. Read our privacy statement for more details.

Do I need a email address to use ideal mate?

Yes, we require a valid email address to use ideal mate.

• There is a confirmation email sent to confirm your membership.
• You will receive an email when another member replies to your profile.

What if I submitted the registration form but didn't get a confirmation email?

If you didn't get your confirmation email, you will need to request it again here You should receive your confirmation email within 24 hours. Remember: Your confirmation email will only be sent to the email address you registered with.

If you don't receive the confirmation notice again within 24 hours, please contact your provider about possible email difficulties. You can have the confirmation email resent to your registered email address. Resend Confirmation

Note to AOL members: Make sure your AOL Mail Controls are set to receive emails from ideal mate.  If you have Internet email blocked, you will need to update your AOL Mail Controls. To make this update, enter the AOL Keyword "Mail Controls" on AOL.

Is a photo required?

Posting a photo of yourself is not required, but suggested. Having a photo increases your chance getting responses by almost 10 to 1. From the Members section click on "Update Profile" and "Photos".

What are the photo guidelines?

We only have a few rules regarding your photo.

• Its should be in the JPEG format no larger than 50KB. The dimensions the photo will be displayed is 187 pixels wide by 225 pixels high. Please crop your photo accordingly.
• Please use photos that includes only you and are close ups.
• To keep ideal mate a fairly clean site; please refrain from photos containing nudity or sexual references. Photos containing nudity or sexual references will be deleted without notice.

How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership please click on the link below. Note: Once you have cancelled your membership you will have to register again to access the Members section. All of your contacts and email will be deleted also.
